Painting a Happy Birthday...

I saw something similar to this on Pinterest and here is my version. I used updated colors. The only thing is, I did use a retired set of letter Framlits. If you are a scrapbooker you could make a Happy Birthday page with the current Large Letter Letters Framelits. I will try to make this into a scrapbook layout and post it.

This card if for my granddaughter's 14th birthday on Halloween. The inside I used Gorgeous Grunge with full color Daffodil Delight Ink, but I stamped off for the Pumpkin Pie and Dapper Denim Inks. I did emboss with Black embossing powder on the Happy Birthday stamp from Confetti Celebration.

The front is 1/2 inch strips of the below color cardstock. I did cut out four layers of each letter to make them pop without using Stampin' dimensionals. The word Birthday is from the Fresh Fruit stamp set. I love this set! I covered the word Happy on the stamp with painters tape while I applied ink, then pulled the tape off to only have the word Birthday show up. I used Versamark and white embossing powder on the black card stock. It stands out well in real life, difficult to see in the photo.

This is a simple, but cute card. I hope you enjoy it. If you want to make this, just click on the photos of the products below to get to my store.

Thank you for looking... I really appreciate it!
